As President of Illusions Netball Club, I’m passionate about building a strong, inclusive community. I’m a Life Member of Netball WA, Swan Districts, Darling Range, and Illusions, and proud recipient of the Australian Sports Medal. I love supporting players, volunteers, and families to thrive through teamwork, growth, and connection.

I have been involved with Illusions for 8 years in various roles. My goal is to create a safe space for our members; young and older, to thrive and enjoy a sport they love. I also coach, play and mentor our younger coaches coming up through our ranks. It takes a village and that is what Illusions is at the heart.

I have been involved with Illusions Netball Club for the last 12years. I am passionate about coaching, umpiring and playing.

Most people know me as Deb. I’ve spent a great deal of my adult life volunteering on committees both within and outside sport. I’ve played, coached and umpired netball for many years, specifically for SDNA and Illusions for the past 10 years. My motivation is to foster the enjoyment of the game for all.

Social media guru by day, paramedic by night! I’ve been a member of seniors 2 for 3 years and bring that same fire to running our club’s socials. Proud dog mum to Rufus and always up for a DIY challenge on the side.

Hi I’m Tia, I’ve been apart of the illusions club for 5 years. I started out as just a player then I had branched out to become an umpire and now a coach. In 2023 I gained my C-badge for umpiring. In 2024 I gained my foundation coaching accreditation and also my development accreditation. This year I am coaching the net set go team illusions 21.

When I'm not on the netball court coaching or playing, I'm either watching movies, getting lost in a book, or blasting music for all to hear.

Hi! I'm a 19-year-old phlebotomist and aspiring med student. As part of the fundraising committee, I love the support and enthusiasm Illusions brings into my life—it's like family, and I'm committed to giving back in any way I can!

I’ve been part of the club for about 10 years and love helping behind the scenes. As a fundraising committee member, I love finding fun ways to support our players and keep the club thriving. Fun fact: Despite buying lots of raffle tickets, I’ve only ever won once—but it was worth the wait!

Having played netball for over 30 years, I’ve spent the last 10 coaching juniors. I hold a Development accreditation and am working towards my Intermediate. I’ve coached at club, development, and adult levels, including ADF WA. Outside of netball, I enjoy time with my husband and working on our property.

I'm a Netball Development Coach, GM at Orkin Australia, and proud parent of three—one currently playing for Illusions, another who previously did. I've played mixed netball socially for 20 years and am an accredited Men's Artistic Gymnastics coach and judge. I'm passionate about developing others and supporting grassroots sport.

Hi I’m Trudy, I have been apart of this club for 5 years now, I have a daughter who plays for illusions 7. In my spare time I enjoy baking cakes, cupcakes and other sweet treats

I’ve been a member of the Illusions Netball Club family for over four years now and both of my daughters either play and/or coach for the club. In my real life, I like to cook random recipes I find on social media and write books.
