Pathway
At Illusions Netball Club, we proudly follow Netball WA’s development pathways for players, coaches, and umpires, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to grow within the sport—whether on or off the court. The player pathway begins with NetSetGO for children aged 5 to 10, focusing on fun, fitness, and basic skills. From there, players move into club and association netball, with opportunities to trial for representative teams and eventually progress into the West Australian Netball League (WANL) or national competitions. The coaching pathway supports individuals from grassroots to elite levels, starting with Foundation accreditation and building through Development, Intermediate, and Advanced levels—all accredited through Netball WA and Netball Australia. Similarly, the umpiring pathway starts with the Foundation Umpire Course and advances through national badging (C, B, A, and AA), giving umpires a clear route to develop and officiate at higher levels, including state and national leagues. These structured pathways create opportunities for everyone to achieve their best, stay involved long-term, and contribute to a strong, supportive netball community
