Spring and Winter Netball at Illusions Netball Club

At Illusions Netball Club, we play our games through the Swans Netball Association, participating in both the Winter and Spring netball competitions. These seasons offer great opportunities for players of all levels to stay active, improve their skills, and enjoy the sport in a friendly and supportive environment.

Winter Netball Season (Main Competition Season)

The Winter season runs from March to August and is the club’s primary competitive season. It features full-length games, team grading, and the opportunity to qualify for finals.

During Winter:

  • Games are played on Saturdays at Swans Netball Association courts in Midland

  • Weekly training sessions are held on weekday evenings

  • Players are placed into teams based on age, skill level, and team availability

  • Full Illusions club uniform is required

  • Teams are coached by Netball WA-accredited coaches

  • Some players may have the opportunity to trial for representative squads

Spring Netball Season (Social/Development Season)

The Spring season runs from October to December and is a shorter, more relaxed season focused on enjoyment and development. It’s perfect for:

  • New players wanting to try netball before the full Winter season

  • Players wanting to keep up fitness and fun in Term 4

  • Friendship groups wanting to play together in a casual environment

Spring games are typically played on weekday evenings, with no finals. It’s ideal for first-timers, returning players, and anyone transitioning from NetSetGO.

Spring Netball Season (Social/Development Season)

Joining is simple! We welcome new players of all skill levels and ages.

  1. Register your interest with us via the website or social media

  2. When registrations open (usually January for Winter, August/September for Spring), you'll sign up through PlayHQ

  3. Register or Log In to PlayHQ

  4. Select Illusions Netball Club when prompted

  5. We'll place you in the appropriate team and provide all the info you need about training, uniforms, and game schedules

Register as a player on PlayHQ

  1. Create a PlayHQ Account:

    If you don't already have one, go to the PlayHQ website and click "Sign Up". You'll need to provide your name, email, mobile number, and create a password. Alternatively, you can sign up using your AFL iD if you have one. 

  2. Find Illustion Netball Club:

    Search for Illustion Netball Club. You can do this by searching by name or using the "Find Organization" function. 

  3. Start Registration:

    Once you've found Illustion Netball Club, navigate to the registration section, often under a "Register" tab. You may need to select a competition or program and then your specific team. 

  4. Complete the Registration Form:

    If you're not already logged in, you'll be prompted to do so. Then, you'll need to fill out the registration form with your details. 

  5. Make Payment (if required):

    Some registrations may require a payment, which you can typically make online via credit card. 

  6. Confirmation:

    Once you've completed the registration and payment (if required), you should receive confirmation of your registration, often via email.
